Our client is a global insurance practice known for its work in property insurance and construction litigation in London. Our client has one of the largest teams in the market and has ambitions to build a new team in Bristol to work closely with well-established clients based in the South West. 

 

The wider team act for numerous composite insurers, including the most high-profile insurers in the market, and carry out all kinds of property damage work, including complex liability claims arising out of insurable risks, advising on policy coverage, handling construction and engineering disputes and subrogated recovery actions. 

 

Our client wishes to recruit an experienced and ambitious lawyer to handle a wide-ranging caseload of their own and provide occasional support to London-based Partners. The successful candidate – who can expect to handle a broad range of property and construction claims – will be the first lawyer to join our client’s Bristol team. They will, therefore, have a blank canvas to build a practice of their own, and they will be able to take advantage of many longstanding relationships with insurers and corporate clients.
