The Role
The busy and growing London Insurance & Reinsurance Group is looking to hire a mid-level associate (5+PQE) to handle a wide range of complex, high-value matters. Working across a wide variety of insurance lines including professional indemnity disputes particularly defending claims against finance professionals, solicitors, insurance brokers and construction professionals, financial lines, healthcare, defendant clinical and professional risks as well as complex policy coverage matters. You will also gain exposure to wider classes of claims such as W&I, marine, cyber and tech.
You will have the opportunity to work with an enviable client base, including many of the leading insurers and major brokers.
Key Requirements:
You will have gained experience at a City, insurance, major regional or leading international firm.
Strong experience handling clients in major insurance undertakings.
Excellent drafting skills.
Ability to translate legal theory into practical, commercial advice.
Will need to have sound judgment and good interpersonal and project management skills.
